Week 3; Calvin and Messiah hold on to No. 1

Week three of the Top 25 poll is now released, and while there is nothing new at the top, the poll does include some new faces this week, as well as more than a few changes from last week's poll. View both the mens and women's Top 25 polls.

Both Calvin and Messiah held on to their No. 1 spots and remain undefeated on the season. Messiah grabbed all 25 first place votes, while Calvin had to share 8 of its first place votes with No. 2 Christopher Newport.

Entering the poll for the first time this week for the men are Eastern Connecticut University at No. 23 and Kenyon College at No. 25. For the women, newcomers include Ithaca College at No. 22 and Eastern University at No. 24.

Swarthmore and Stevens both jumped in this week's poll to break into the top 10: Swarthmore from No. 11 to No. 4, and Stevens from No. 15 to No. 9. Ohio Wesleyan, Emory, and UW-Whitewater also moved up strongly this week.

The women's poll wasn't quite as active this week, but Loras jumped from No. 18 to No. 11, and Wheaton (Mass.) moved up from No. 24 to No. 19.
