In the West sectional on Friday afternoon, No. 12 Wheaton (Ill.) shocked No. 2 Hardin-Simmons, while No. 4 Washington U. edged Concordia-Moorhead. In the men's Central sectional, No. 19 Wheaton got by No. 9 Dominican in a rematch from the regular season, and sectional host No. 2 Loras edged UW-Platteville.

Saturday's schedule along with live stats and video links are on the men's and women's scoreboard. Complete information on the NCAA Tournament is available in our Tournament Central.

In the first women's match, Wheaton upended Hardin-Simmons 2-1 in overtime. Cowgirl senior Katie Kuykendall scored in the 65th minute for the 1-0 Hardin-Simmons lead, but with just 19 seconds on the clock, freshman Kristin Rauh headed in a ball served in the box from senior Shelby Anthony and junior Amanda Brait to tie the match.

It only took 34 seconds into overtime for senior Laura Karsten to control the ball and send another cross into the box, which this time, was controlled and redirected by freshman Ally Witt past freshman Lexi Stinson for the win.

In the second match, Washington U. edged Concordia-Moorhead 2-1, with the winning goal scored off a penalty kick in the 71st minute. Senior Nicole Martin had both goals for the Bears, while senior Sarah Rounds scored early in the first half for the Cobbers. The Bears will face Wheaton in an Elite 8 match on Saturday at 5:00 pm CT for the first spot at the women's Final Four table. Earlier in the season, Wheaton defeated the Bears 4-0.

At Loras, the Wheaton men avenged an earlier loss to Dominican by shutting out the Stars 1-0. Freshman Marshall Hollingsworth scored early in the second half for the Thunder, who held on to win despite a strong Domincan attack.

In the second match of the evening, the Duhawks defeated UW-Platteville 2-1, on two goals by Kevin Cavers. Cavers scored his first goal in the first 10 minutes, putting the hosts up 1-0. The Pioneers answered in the 33rd minute when Chris Brown scored off a long ball from Mbodje Sarr. But Cavers put the match away in the 64th minute when he sent in a long shot from 25 yards that got by Ian Christensen for the Loras win. The Duhawks will battle Wheaton for a Final Four berth on Saturday at 6:00 pm CT. In September, Loras defeated Wheaton 2-0 at the Rock Bowl.
