Westminster (Mo.) Soccer Players Receive NSCAA Recognition

Fulton, Mo. - Four Westminster College soccer players have earned 2009 NSCAA All-Region Scholar recognition by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Michael Tulley, a senior defender from Ballwin, Mo. (Marquette), is an Honorable Mention All-North/Central Region Scholar. Tulley is a Dean’s List student, a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, and a four-time St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference pick.
Three members of the Westminster women’s soccer squad have been honored. Seniors Maegan Buzzetta and Melissa Fandl, and junior Alex Johnson have been named Honorable Mention All-Central Region Scholars. Buzzetta, a midfielder from Hazelwood, Mo. (Hazelwood West), is a Dean's List student, a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, and a four-time St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference selection. Fandl, a midfielder from High Ridge, Mo. (Northwest), is a Dean’s List student. And Johnson, a midfielder from St. Louis, Mo. (Clayton), is a Dean’s List student and a two-time St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference pick.
