Henry Loughlin is a Brandeis University graduate (2014, Politics & American Studies) and has enjoyed watching Division III soccer for six years—the first as a freshman at Roger Williams University and the subsequent five as a Brandeis student and alumnus. Never a competitive soccer player himself, instead a runner in both high school and college, he has long been a fan of the beautiful game, and was the Sports Editor of the Justice - Brandeis' independent student newspaper - when the Judges advanced to the Sweet 16 in both 2012 and 2013. Though a writer by trade, his interest in numbers and statistical analysis makes soccer writing and commentary a favorite pastime.
When not watching soccer or working for a marketing agency in Greater Boston, Henry enjoys traveling and is working towards his private pilot's license. He lives in Cambridge, MA, which gives him the opportunity to watch a variety of compelling contests in the area.
