Brooklyn's Alwyn Adams Named CUNYAC Player of the Week
Flushing, NY --- Brooklyn College senior midfielder Alwyn Adams has been named the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week, for the week ending October 14th.
Adams notched a pair of hat tricks this past week in helping lead the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week. In the two games, Adams totaled six goals and an assist for 13 points for the week, as the senior helped BC outscore their opponents 15-5 for the week. Adams also accounted for both game winnings goals this past week for Brooklyn.
Coming in a 10-2 victory over CUNYAC and borough rival Medgar Evers College on Wednesday, October 10th, Adams recorded his first career hat-trick, including registering the eventual game winning goal.
Later on in the week, against another conference rival, John Jay College of Criminal Justice on Saturday, October 13th, Adams notched a second straight hat-trick, including the eventual game-winner once again, as the Bulldogs would go on to take a 5-3 victory. He also added an assist in the game.
