No. 10 Cal Lutheran Remains Unbeaten in SCIAC Play
CLAREMONT, Calif. - All four goals during Saturday's conference contest were scored in the opening half of play between Cal Lutheran and Pomona-Pitzer. CLU's Lindsay Armenta supplied the final pair in a 3-1 road win over the Sagehens.

Armenta broke a 1-1 tie in the 31st minute and added another just over 10 minutes later to secure the win. Teammate Nicole Rains was a mid-game substitution entering after Armenta's first goal. She would end up assisting her second score that put the Regals up by two.
The SCIAC's leading scorer Taylor Will extended her scoring streak to four games after netting Saturday's opening goal in the 10th minute. Her 13th goal this season came courtesy of Sinead Vaughan's conference-best sixth assist.
For the first time in conference play this season Cal Lutheran surrendered a lead after Pomona-Pitzer made the most of its only premium first half scoring opportunity. Traci Lopez scored in the 21st minute on the team's lone shot of the opening 45 minutes to bring the home side even.
The Regals put eight of its 13 shots on target with Sagehens net minder Emma Wolfarth making five saves in the loss. Pomona-Pitzer is the first team to score against CLU goalkeeper Renee Standage, who had her scoreless streak snapped at 291 minutes on Saturday.
Cal Lutheran (9-1-0, 6-0-0 SCIAC) will host Occidental on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Field location and time are yet to be officially announced.
