Cal Lutheran Soccer Playing for More than Results

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - The Cal Lutheran women's soccer team has joined the fight to end breast cancer through Passionately Pink for the Cure. Fans are encouraged to donate funds and wear pink attire during the team's regular season home contests.

Passionately Pink for the Cure is an awareness and fundraising program benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The goal is to end breast cancer forever by supporting the work of the organization started by one sister and named for the other.

Online donations are available by clicking here. Thus far the Regals soccer team has raised nearly $300 and has four home games remaining on its schedule.

Cal Lutheran hosts Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Oct. 8), UC Santa Cruz (Oct. 9), La Verne (Oct. 19) and Pomona-Pitzer (Oct. 26).
